NIGHTLIFE IN BODRUM GUMBET

Bodrum’s nightlife is the most lively along the length of the Aegean. Indeed, Bodrum has more bars per area than any other place in Turkey. Live music, local and international DJs and showdancers are all on offer, complete with fog machines and laser lights. Nightlife in Bodrum is frenetic and varied, offering not only western-style decadent clubs and discos, but also the chance to sample partying Turkish style at one of the 'meyhanes' (there are several of these local nightclubs on the road to Konacik and Ortakent) where the crowd joins in with the local artiste, singing, dancing, eating and drinking. Most of the bars in Bodrum's mile long 'Bar Street' and offers dancing, belly dancing floor shows, live music and outdoor seating (often on the beach) with a view of the illuminated castle. For clubbers the main place to be is Halikarnas, one of the biggest and swankiest open-air clubs in the world, where the entrance charge matches the volume of the music and brightness of the laser lights

This is one of the coolest experiences you can have in Bodrum. You board this (boat)club before 1 ' o clock and then it departs into the sea. The music is great, very good DJ and sometimes even well known international DJ's. The floor is made of glass so you can see the sea underneath you which is also very nice. Beautiful people go to this club, a lot of tourists but also a lot of Turks come here. The club is a the worlds biggest and only catamaran club with a capacity for 5000 people. If you want to get off board earlier thats also possible since you can take small pendel boats to the coast again
